This Affiliate Disclosure explains the affiliate relationships that Sarah Le-Fevre at Ludogogy has with other companies and products.
How do affiliate programmes work?
Affiliate programmes allow website owners to provide special links to another website where you can purchase products and services.
These links contain a tracking code so that the target websites knows that you clicked on a link in Ludogogy, and if you buy or subscribe to something from the link, Ludogogy may get paid a commission – at no extra cost to you as the purchaser.
Ludogogy uses these kinds of links where relevant to make recommendations and to provide links to products mentioned in articles and reviews, for example.
Are the recommendations unbiased?
Yes! I would only ever make recommendations of products and services which I would be happy to purchase myself, or that I believe would be appropriate and useful for readers of Ludogogy. All reviews that appear in Ludogogy are largely positive. That is because we believe that reading that a product is no good is a waste of your time, and if we discover that a product or service is of limited use, we simply don’t bother writing a review of it.
Ocassionally, I might be sent a book or game, for free, in order for me (or someone else associated with Ludogogy) to review, but if that is the case, whether or not an affiliate link is provided, I will fully disclose that in the review/article.
What affiliate programmes does Ludogogy belong to?
At the moment, Ludogogy only participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for website owners to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com, audible.com, and any other website that may be affiliated with Amazon Service LLC Associates Program.
It is likely in the future, that Ludogogy will join other affiliate programmes and if and when that happens, this Affiliate Disclosure will be updated to reflect that.
